This year on your scouting missions check out these wonderful plants:
“Blushing Bride” Hydrangea- this is a new introduction which is very exciting. It has a big blush white blossom that forms not only on last year’s wood but it keeps blossoming on new growth! This ensured a blossom set every year even in the hills of Worcester County! This is a new variation of the popular 'endless summer' hydrangea which is also in stock.
“Mardi Grai” Helenium- this plant has been the hit of the front display. It has a short green lead plant in the spring gardening season explodes in the summer with a long blooming bright bold orange, red, yellow daisy-like cluster of blooms.
“Waterfall Bleie” Campanula- A rock garden cascade plant that was one of the hits of the Flower Show in February is establishing itself. It is a rugged low growing flower that blooms for most of the summer. It does will in full sun or light shade.
The collection of plants called stepables are looking good already, there are many plants in that group. Some that grow in the shade and some that grow in the sun but they are all low growers that tolerate some foot traffic.
